UPDATE: The stock memory thermal pads on the heat sink need to be replaced, in addition to adding the backplate pads. If you don't replace the stock pads, your card will likely throttle again, even after adding backplate pads. My initial testing weeks ago resulted in that conclusion. This video is intended to be a nearly full and complete step-by-step walkthrough of how to change and install thermal pads to the Gigaburger 3080 to eliminate thermal throttling.
