Before and after replacing thermal pads compare test Replacing thermal pads on Gigabyte 3080 10gb graphic card, stock ones on front side, and upgrade it and put also new ones on rear side, where no pads. Front replacing with 2mm thermal pads, and rear also with 2mm thermal pads. This one 3080 does not have thermal throttling problems, and works perfect, mining 102,4 Mhs on Etherium, but the main problem is temperature of memory, Ram memory (Junction Memory temperature) that you can not see in Msi Afterburner, it is very high, and in some times it hits 110-114 celsius degres. This is definetley not good for your memory and it will burn part of your cells after while. After replacement new pads, results are very good. In same setings in msi afretburner that are tested before temerature hits 104 celsius, and after replacement, on same setting it hits 88 celsius, and that is 16 degress less than before, what is amazing results. Stock pads are obviously not so good quality, and rear side doesent have any of them, so it is good to replace and upgrade.
