Aorus 3080 Extreme - upgrading thermal pads

Before you comment: I have tweaked my mining settings. I'm running ~228 watts at about 418 KH/J with 96 MH/s. More RAM MHz gives a better result, but it's just not stable. I demand 100% stability for 24/7/365. This is my daily driver video card and is the only GPU I have, I don't want it to die, please don't tell me how to optimize further when I've spent 2+ months tweaking and dialing this in (after I made this video). GPU MHz is set at a fixed 1425 MHz, RAM is fixed at 10213 MHz (MSI Afterburner), fans at 90% fixed. Gigabyte, why u cheap out on thermal pads? It's a $1,350 video card, but you use $0.50 pads that feel like marshmallows. 2.5mm pads (1 + 1.5mm) - too thick 2.0mm pads (1 + 1 mm) - better, but GPU still too hot 1.5mm pads (1x1.5mm) - will include in an upcoming video Back of GPU: 5 w/km thermal pads off Amazon (~$10) Front of GPU - ThermalRight 12.8 w/mk (~$16 off Amazon)
